Avocados

We have a collection of many different avocado varieties and we are looking forward to expanding this grove selection in the end of 2022.

So far in the ground we have Fuerte (the pollinator, very important) Carmen, Mexicola, Arizona, Gem, Holiday, Reed, Rancho Cucamonga, and a block of about 30 Haas.

Citrus & Coffee

The first trees on our property were citrus trees. We are unsure how long they have been here but in that original planting we had Minneola Tangelos, Navel and Valencia oranges along with one Meyer Lemon tree.

We have now added 4 different varieties of Mandarins- Pixie, Tango, Kishu and Honey. Two types of limes- Baers, and Mexican sweet limes. Along with two more orange varieties- Cara Cara and Morro Blood Orange and we added one more Meyer Lemon.

Coffee is one of the many things we grow on the property. We have 3 different sections of coffee growing with about 37 varieties in total. We did this planting in an effort to see how each variety grows in the Southern California climate. They are all arabica varietals.

Deciduous

The deciduous planting started in 2021 with 58 trees. We started with, Apples, Apricot, Aprium, Cherries, Nectarines, Peaches, Plums and Pluot and Nectaplum. In 2022 we expanded and brought the grand total of trees in the orchard to 106 adding 5 new apples, 3 new nectarines, 6 new peaches, 4 pecans, 2 types of pears, a pluerry, and persimmons. The list of varieties we have in the orchard is amazing, we will have peaches from May till September.
